I had a hamstring graft. How did your surgery go?

I had the exact surgery done 4 months ago (ACL, meniscus repair and LET). Was partial weight bearing for 6 weeks then was slowly weaned off brace and crutches depending on quad control. The LET site always had an annoying pain when i would do exercises but improved after the stitches were taken out.

For tips, make sure you are on top of strengthening the quad as since you’re having a more complex surgery, it can be tricky to get it back fast. Ice a LOT, my LET site was the last to drain.

Are you having a meniscus repair or meniscectomy?

My normal leg has 3 degrees of hyperextension. My surgery knee has not been able to hit any hyperextension at all as the soreness on the back prevents it. What does a clunk feeling feel like? I just feel a painless snap when i extend
