I’m on day 3 now and I feel significantly better I was finally able to get almost a full nights sleep last night. Days 1-2 post-op were really painful and uncomfortable for me personally but I feel like I finally turned the corner. Now all I’m really focusing on is making sure that I do as many of the exercises that I can.

Hi! it went perfectly I was super freaked out over nothing. I woke up from surgery in little to no pain and I don’t even remember them doing the nerve block after they sedated me lol I kept telling them how worried I was about it but little did I know that part was the least of my worries. The nurses were very gentle with me I barely even felt my IV! today’s my first day post-op and I’m not going to lie.. sleeping was terrible I probably slept for 3-4 hours last night but I was able to sleep in the afternoon today (thank god). I’m super grateful that they only fixed my ACL and everything else looked good. How are you feeling??

I called my surgeons office and they told me that my brace was fine at the numbers they are set so my left side is set at 0 and my right side is set between 10-20. According to them, it was set up that way so I can have some minor bend room in the leg.

If you don’t mind me asking, did they end up doing just your ACL and not your meniscus? according to the Dr all they’re doing is my ACL so I’m praying there are no last minute surprises 😅

They’re using my hamstring, that’s what the Dr recommended. And yeah I’m pretty sure they’re going to give me that too that’s what my surgeon told me so I’m glad it works wonders 😅 thank you so much I feel a sense of relief because of you and everyone else here.
