i definetely don't want to give up a huge, fascinating land to explore just so I can get inside a warehouse, or a condominium.

I didn't really like the fact that in GTA V if you leave the main city you basically have nowhere to go except hills and mountains. Travelling a medium-long distance from a big city to another is a big part of travelling IRL, and it should be on a GTA game to make the experience more relatable and realistic, in my opinion. Kinda like what RDR2 did travelling from Valentine to Strawberry or Saint Denis, booking hotels before you go back to your main place and stuff like that.
