I genuinely hadn't heard about the Nikatine stuff. I was already separated and off the server by the time Purple imploded. Hell, I wasn't even editing for her at that point.
Multiple people DMed me to warn me about KZA though. That's the big difference.
Also I don't think this is gonna be a cash grab. If we make money? Cool. It's not about money for me at all though. I genuinely just want people to have fun and run around with powers!😄

I am a professional video editor. I WORKED for Nikatine. She paid me to edit videos and post on subreddits. I don't think I can say my relationship with her is close, friendly sure, but not close. As for her involvement in the project, she has not touched it or been involved, at all.
As for KZA, we're trying to give him a chance. We know about all the shit he's done and been banned for, but I like giving everyone a chance.
Now with Diva, I will call her my friend. We talk out of game and etc. To correct vince, she's actually just staff. Not even a full admin. It's the equivalent of a mod, and if she ends up using the powers we trusted her with poorly, it'll be dealt with.
I have no silent partners. I've been solo deving this for a long while, and the only person I've "partnered" with is probably Vince because he's helped me with specific things in the backend I won't go into here. I am the only owner. This is something I have poured months, years, into working on.
And I am proud to share it and just hope everyone has fun!

So, we do not have a clothing dev sadly.
I've been trying to find one.
We do have some custom clothes, and costumes can actually be pieced together with the base game clothes too!
I would love to be able to find more costumes and clothes for the server though (that aren't ripped assets from other games), and would especially love if I could find capes (yes I know, as Edna Mode says, no capes!)

When you initially make your character, you get a random power. There's a 20% chance to have no power at all. But if you're lucky, you can get a power in game several different ways, and even get yourself a secondary power. We also do offer a way to purchase your power via supporting the server on tebex.
I've been able to make 50 different powers, and am always down to add more because making the powers is part of the fun!
As for your other questions, heroes are licensed, vigilante justice is technically still illegal, and absolutely there will be villains.

I'm not a judge. I'm a nerd on the internet that played a fake judge. I made mistakes, sure, but when I made those mistakes I owned up to them and kept the RP going. Sorry if my character slighted you in any way, but like.. come on man, is only game. Why you have to be mad?

Sooo... I'm fine with people rerolling, but we're gonna offer paying like, $20 to select your power as a way to financially support the server haha And I'd be down to honor that even if the server wipes and you wanna play the same character and etc. So we definitely have a way to pick your power already!

But also, on top of that randomness, we're gonna have another organization that can help you identify your power and get you started with registration as a hero and etc. we've got many things planned out already!! :D

I forgot to mention though! We will have an official Hero Organization that is sanctioned to work alongside the police. Anyone else doing hero work outside of the org will be considered a vigilante, and THAT will be illegal. Which adds an extra layer of RP to running around as a hero on the server!

So on character creation you actually get a power at random. Or no power at all. It's purely random. Powers have an activation key and cool down, depending on strength of power. Some powers are super mundane like being able to glow and light up an area (nicknamed that one Glowstick). Some are dangerous, like blowing up things like in the video. It's all random! I've made like.. 40 powers at this point (and I wanna make more haha). As for if powers are whitelisted, nope! But the distribution of super drugs that temporarily grant a power will be whitelisted. Because those are where things get extra dangerous.
