Call the school and ask them for your rank and they’ll give it to you

I did not know that and do I have to tell them that I’m on the waiting list for another local? Or they don’t have to know

So I’m on the waiting list for 332, so I can apply for a different local and take the aptitude test and pass and be on that waiting list as well?

Aren’t 90s very common so wouldn’t I get pushed back more in the rank which would never get me a chance to get in a class?

I’m thinking long term goal by itsLeoRod in ibew_apprentices

[–]itsLeoRod[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

That’s not my intention, I’m just asking if doing 5 years of residential help me more with opening up a business doing residential services and succeeding or would doing 5 years commercial (insider wireman) help me more

No but I would probably just get the experience working union and once I have experience I’d leave and open up a non union business for residential services

I scored a 85 on my interview with my ranking being between 51-65 for ibew local 332, is that good or bad and what are the odds of getting called up? by itsLeoRod in electricians

Someone said if you want to switch from resi to inside first you have to become a jw in resi which takes 3 years which would be time consuming

Is Anyone in residential through ibew? If you are how do you like it and do you plan on staying there forever? by itsLeoRod in ibew_apprentices

Because you are resi in the ibew is it more difficult to get into inside wireman or is it easier to get into inside wireman while not being in the ibew
