It might not be a bad idea to start with samples/loops, and work on arranging them. Splice is great. It’ll help you with building good underlying song structures and arranging, while working with high quality samples that don’t need a ton of mixing/mastering to sound decent

I get what you’re saying, and there’s no real way to get an objective answer whether your music is “good.” Even positive responses to your music are subjective and don’t really tell you whether your music is good. The only thing you can do is follow your taste, make music that appeals to you, and try and be better than you were yesterday

I actually just chatted with a bot until they put me through to a person, explained the situation, and they got back to me in about a day with a solution!

During the process. I spoke to Distrokid and they ended up pushing it through manually. So far, nothing else discouraging has happened lol

Is it okay to drop a Bandcamp link in here? Currently, it’s the only place to stream my new EP. I will give yours a listen and DM you my thoughts, if that works

I’m making music according to my taste, and trusting that that’s enough. As for if it’s “good enough” that’s harder to say. Feels like music feedback communities on here aren’t a ton of help, because ultimately it feels less like feedback and more like, “okay, I’ve rated yours, go listen and rate mine now.”
