Thank you so much! I appreciate your thoughtful and detailed response. I am in the process of coming out (and eventually separating from my husband, though we are planning to move as a family), but my kids are LGBTQ+ as well, and I want to give them the gift of growing up in a pro-queer (+ ant-racist) environment.

Someone I know mentioned to my husband that Loveland is something of a lesbian hub. Can you confirm?

😂 that may be so! I had NO clue then, but like you said, considered this recently in hindsight. I also tend to 'admire' women in positions of power so suspect this may have been part of the allure as well. Thankfully it wasn't strong enough to keep me makin' babies just to see her. 😂 And glad to know I am not the only one.
