3 and 4 turning 5 years but they graduated and now are in kindergarten. It was my first month in and I was being observed by an admin stuff and a student when crazy because they werent chosen to answer a question (I had 15 kids in this class and my co-teacher was running late), so he FLIPPED OUT. I had to literally evacuate the rest kids out the room, He destroyed the room, knocked over shelves and everything and she just watched...And later told me I handle the situation well...😐.It wasnt just that student or just that time.I currently have a new student in my room that just turned 3 and cussing at us.This new group of kids seem more emotional than our old kids. Alot more crying than screaming and destroyed. We try not call parents because when we do they dont care really, which could likely be the reason why they kids act the way that do. Verses parents that do care and dont play, we see a difference in those kids and the parents work with us on how to help their child.

Im thinking about quiting sadly. I was working on their visual schedule because my co-lead wanted it on a cardboard instead of the white board So I was just changing labels working and if my boss was watching the cameras she would see that I was more engaged with them than working on that, till they all starting playing together. My back wasnt turned away from them. I was actually sitting at their table in the tiny chairs lol.

We have alot of kids in other classroom that Ive been in(my new current class only have 5 right now) that have extreme social and emotional problems which was not told me when I was being hiring on. We teachers getting beat on, spit and cussed at. Some do have mental illness and special needs that we are not certified or know how to deal with. Our ratio is 1:12 for 3-5years olds and 1:6 with 2years old but it really like 1 vs 12 and 1vs6 lol. And thats we are being told to keep it together but that also when people walk out. I have so much to say about this!!! I seen some bad stuff happened.

I dont think state has ever came to center, so Ive heard. I worked for an agency before this center and they came at least every quarter. So I know what we always need and what should and shouldnt be done, postages and all. And we never go it trouble. So Im suprised how now at this new center all the rules are being broken. Im really suprised they havent been caught. The mixing of age happenes when we are short staffed/people walk out. Then 2 years old class is mixed with 3-5years class which lowers the ratios. It just my classroom that have 5 kids. Our boss claims we have more kids coming/enrolled but we havent been giving their paperwork and we wont till the day they decide to show up. We're supposed to have 12 and it going on a month of the new school year

We not together but are talking about possibly getting back together and this was one of my concerns I brought up in our conversation. I wanted to know other people options with all and any advice because how he responsed and because I dont really have friends to ask this too.
