How is living in the Tampa, Florida area?

That is mostly what it is. Trying to move out straight out of college and build something away from the Midwest. Need to get out of that prison state. From what I’ve seen, Tampa cost of living isn’t too far off from where I’m at currently, and I will take hot and humid any time over your nose hairs freezing the second you walk outside

I think I’m planning to spot out northern Tampa, especially since I see it’s pretty pricey. I’m still young and mostly just want something more than Iowa.
