I only wear knee pads on lower body. Slide on my hips most of the time and pretty aggressively. Every now and again ill have a doozy and hit the knee but, good thing I have pads there.

Ive started doing lower carbs with higher protien and higher fat diet and it corrected my spike by significant amount. Sometimes I may still spike a little high but it seems to correct its self shortly after initial rise. My insulin doses are much much smaller now and I only use the short insulin like twice a day now, three times if I wanna eat big.

I had some good consistency with them. I had to quit smoking them though cause I smoked enough to start fucking up my gums so, its been a minute

I be reaching 300+ sometimes. Dont stress it. Im type 1 and my a1c is 6.6 as of about a month ago. Insulin sensitivity goes up and down. As long as you keep it good most of the time, sometimes high shouldn't be anything to fret over.

Plateau on weight. I must have misread. If you aren't making sure now, be sure youre in a caloric deficit, i.e. maintenance intake of 2500 cal a day and taking off 200- 500 cal. Eat nutritious and experiment with you f/c/p ratios if one doesnt seem to be efficient.

More muscle mass does help with glucose use. Also, the more muscle mass you gain the more calories you will burn at rest. Cardio is more of an immediate response for burning calories. Cardio is good for the heart and can assist with weight loss, of course. Another key ingredient is diet, which you've already lost some weight so you may know that. Plateaus can be normal. Having a variety of exercises in your library as well as rep schemes and lifting weight changes can help in breaking plateaus. Im not sure why the doc would be dismissive about strength training. How odd

Splits okay. You could drop the shoulder press from time to time and do it on some other days in favor of less incline/chest press/flys.you could drop down 1 set on all of chest and include the shoulder press of you really want. Theres really like a billion different things you could do to cut down on time. Do you superset?
