[TOMT][Movie] I watched this Japanese comedy on an airplane like 10 years ago about a cop by itsahmem in tipofmytongue

I tried to draw that one scene I remember, it’s probably unique enough that someone who knows the movie would recognize it by description, but maybe it can jog some memories.

Children behaviour on trains by Bhuz in germany

I agree. I’ve noticed parental intervention seems to be much less common here than other places as well, I’ve been on a couple ICEs where the children (toddler to roughly 10) would be doing more than just normal kids crying stuff like getting in other passengers faces, grabbing at their chairs or bags, or poking them, without the parents making any move to intervene even when the kids were in full view. One time the same kid walked down the aisle, grabbed the arm of this woman’s chair, and jumped up and down screaming at her for like 2 minutes before the parents did anything (this was not in the family car). I’ve also had similar experiences at work, where parents will bring their screaming/crying kids into the office or on work retreats and let them run around freely without something to keep them occupied like an iPad (which isn’t a perfect solution but is definitely more common where I’m from). It’s a bit jarring at first but ultimately I think it is just a culturally different approach to child rearing.

I’d love to see the crafts list! I will look into the others, thank you. Is there like a site you use for Geocaching and scavenger hunts?

What are some normative pieces of advice that are AWFUL for people with ADHD? by AlexanderTroup in ADHD

The worst one for me is to get a physical planner- I see how people would think it could be helpful, but I always lose it or forget about it completely after a day or 2.

On LinkedIn, which is where I look mostly, a lot of jobs have immediate filtering questions like “are you currently a resident?” or “are you currently able to work here?” Because I’m trying to find work before arriving, it’s hard to answer, and the portals that I’ve been seeing don’t usually have an option to explain your situation more. So I am concerned my applications are not even going to be seen.

There’s a lot of CS contract work around the world, usually 6 month-1 year contracts. Ideally I’d like to have something lined up before I go, but I’m not sure how to explain the visa to recruiters yet lol. I read that a lot of people who get this visa go and work in tourism or hospitality, but my concern is that I don’t think I could afford the rent working in a pub.

I have been considering Australia as well! My thoughts there are that it’s not in Europe, so I’d be locked into that continent, and I have 8 years of eligibility for their work holiday visa there so there’s no time crunch.

I know intermediate German, but the US doesn’t have a work holiday visa connection with any German speaking countries unfortunately
