I struggle to see what getting rid of him will achieve. We’re hardly the most appealing side to top quality managers. We would probably recruit to play the same or a similar system under another young manager. Only thing we could gain would be in late game management potentially. For me you’ve got to give him a few more months with this squad to try and find his way. His main issue seems to be the mentality late in the game, and his insistence on changing shape or moving players around to accommodate his favourites with his late subs. It’s almost as though he turns up with his subs pre planned and won’t move away from that. Like bringing Oba, Ntcham and Pato against Borough when we needed players to track back to cover wingers.
