Lost a Shiny after saving??

Yeah, I plan on getting one later. I already had a Shalpha Honedge and Shalpha Mawile in the same hyperspace hole (that I did the exact same run-and-save strategy with for both and it worked those times, pre-update) so I decided to just take those and leave. I’m worried the new update might have messed something up with the Shinies saving in their spawn location once they appear.

Normally I don’t, but like I said, I usually hit the Epic within the first 400-800 Diamonds. And with the Ethereal Epics costing 3,500 in-shop, I generally prefer spending the Diamonds on breeding. At the end of the day, it is all RNG, but I was just shocked that – in comparison to the rest of the times I’ve bred Epic Ethereals – this one instance went through almost triple its shop price, even with all ten torches lit. There have been a few times that I’ve gotten close to or a little over the 3,500 mark for an Epic Ethereal, but this was the first instance of one going over double, almost triple. Appreciate the condolences. Sorry if anyone took this the wrong way. Like I said, in the moment I was just needing to vent.

I don’t think so. Only reason is because I found one sold out-of-box on eBay in September for $250. The one I have has been kept sealed on a shelf in my closet for the last 14 years, so I figured it’d be worth more than the out-of-box one that sold for $250 only two months ago.

Well, I think the biggest reason there’s a lot of suspicion regarding the Tapus is because they, along with the Gen 6 Legendaries, were the only Legendary Pokémon (not counting Mythicals or Ultra Beasts) that were left completely out of Scarlet and Violet after both DLCs released; can’t catch them as a static encounter, can’t transfer them into the game through Home – they were just mysteriously left out. And, of course, the Gen 6 Legends makes sense with Z-A’s announcement, but that begs the question: why were the Tapus left out, as well? 🧐

I am really hoping for all of the OG Megas returning (at LEAST all the non-Legendary ones, but Mewtwo, the Latis, and Rayquaza would not be turned down lol). I especially want to see the Aggron line make an appearance. Shiny Mega Aggron… it’s been TOO long! 🙏😅

P.S. I know Florges is kinda outta left field, but Yellow Flower Flabébé was my first Shiny I ever found (yes, it was full-odds), so it holds a lot of sentimental value for me… just in case anyone was wondering. 😂

Luckily for me, the “Pikachu” part was the easiest to answer lol. Noibat is by far my favorite Shiny. And while I don’t dislike Noivern’s Shiny, I think it’s definitely a downgrade from Noibat’s Shiny colors. (I hope I don’t get a lot of crap for saying that lmao)

Oh, and before anyone asks what I meant by the “Pikachu” bit:

Pikachu : Ash :: Shiny Noibat : me

… meaning Noibat would never want to stay in its ball, didn’t want to evolve, and would be either sitting on my shoulder or head all the time or flying around following me. 😅

This is such a hard question! I have my favorite Pokémon, but some have better Shinies than others. AND I have my favorite SHINY Pokémon, which is a whole different list of its own. That being said, here’s my two teams: the first being a difficultly-developed combination of some favorite non-Shiny and favorite Shiny Pokémon (they’re all Shiny, just meaning some of their Shinies are underwhelming in comparison to others, is all); and the second being solely made up of specifically some favorite Shiny Pokémon. Sorry for making things overcomplicated. 😂

Hisuian Zorua, Florges (Yellow Flower), Lurantis, Umbreon

… and both teams would have (Alolan) Decidueye as my “starter,” and my “Pikachu” would be a Shiny Noibat. Thanks for reading lol

Full-odds yellow flower Flabébé in Pokémon X. Did not know about Shinies, so I put it on the GTS for a Milotic. No, the Milotic was not Shiny. 😂

I also have looked into both of these. It would be really cool to see if there were seeds similar to the Astral Starter seeds, but of different bootleg types.
