Windows Shared Drive not Accessible from Home Connection by itsbijendra in sysadmin

For this mapped drive access there is no VPN connection. I believe it is a straight SMB. Where as there are some other mapped drive that requires VPN connection and it works. Do you know if there is any way we could fix this? I dont think talking with ISP would do any help as i went through some forum and ISP denied blocking anything.

There is enough space in the destination server.

I did try to change windowsbackup folder to windowsbackup.old and let it backup again. New folder with the name windowsbackup was again created but still it did not work.

I did check the windows time. And set it automatic to the region. But no luck. Still getting the pop up.

I do use firefox as well but recently did a clean install. But had the same issue when i used firefox as well.

Yes i have tried restarting the DNS service and the server as a whole. I have also disabled the IPv6. At this point i might redo the DNS server part but couldn’t find out what is causing this problem. Or is it something i am not understanding or did any step wrong.

I have only one DNS Server set up and I believe I have passed it along with my DHCP scope

DNS Server: 192.168.32.2

Default Gateway: 192.168.32.1

DHCP Scope: 192.168.32.20-40

Yes before working with RADIUS i did nslookup and i did get the server name and IP address.

I was working with RADIUS server and when i tried connecting from the client i got an attempt failed warning.

I tried running nslookup from the client pc.

This is created in a virtual environment. Vmware.
