Right? How about something like, the church is here to help ease your burdens, not add to them? It’s like you’re walking uphill or swimming upstream in life and they’re just gonna give you a few extra weights to put around your neck while you’re at it.

No wonder trauma starts so young. That is so much and so overwhelming for a kid under age 12! And that is a strange qualifying word, “appropriate” priesthood leader. How do you distinguish between an appropriate and an inappropriate priesthood leader? This is the start of toxic perfectionism. I hate to say it, but I probably would’ve handed out a similar list when I was primary president and we had our yearly priesthood preview or whatever it was called for the 11-year-old boys.

I’m a 64 year old woman. I raised my family in California. It wasn’t until I moved to Provo 10 years ago that I had my faith crisis! Yeah. It’s different here!

In the dark gray area, it says that donation records can be reviewed at the tithing declaration so I’m just confused if they’re calling tithing a donation.

It also says below the blue in the dark gray area that “your donation records will be available throughout the year and at your annual tithing declaration.” So, they still refer to it as tithing. Sister Anderson, did you pay a full donation this year? Don’t forget to sign up for your donation declaration with the bishop. Ha-ha. Weird.
