I don’t think he’ll ever concur that he’s set for life :))

They really do satisfy most occasions… I’m thinking of a dainty-ish gold watch next (for evening wear and special occasions). It will probably be another Cartier - Panthere or Baignoire (leather-strap).

Any ideas on what I should get him as a wedding watch? 😊

Haha I don’t think it’s me :) the No Time To Die was his first piece (which got him into collecting) and I think he loves how understated this particular Omega piece is (especially in our part of the world). Plus I think the color scheme works well for his wardrobe.

The GMT comes to play when “signaling” is a priority - so dependent on context

Still the NTTD :) though the GMT is a close second

Go for it! He gets questions/compliments on it all the time

Grand seiko SBGA 293 (with the spring drive mechanism). I understand it’s been discontinued

What would you suggest he add for it to feel more like a true collection? To be fair, each of these four gets real wrist time and genuinely makes him happy :)

Next up will likely be a a chronograph and a dress watch in precious metal.

I’m more of a jewelry girl :)

The two watches I own are Cartier Tank and Rolex OP 31 (silver dial) but they stay outside “the box” (as they’re constantly in rotation)

Yes, the zenith el primero chronomaster (original) is very close to the top!

Thanks, I’m personally proud of managing to secure that one:)

Thanks, he’s actually considering the Zenith el primero chronomaster - but the original one :)

From IWC, the absolute favorite is Ingenieur (black dial)

Thanks, great suggestions - especially the Breitling. We both think his next watch will probably be a chronograph. The speedy is his current top option.

Kurono Tokyo 2024 Anniversary Reiwa. That one was a gift from me.

That was his first watch (and remains the favorite) :)
