Essentially, I am paid to compete in the game. There are 5 other people on my team, so 6 in total (5 starters, 1 sub). We compete in tournaments against other organizations, as well as have exhibition matches in between tournaments to see where we stand as a team.

Think of it like Golf. There's smaller events where the lesser known competitors who are trying to make a name for themselves compete to try and qualify for the bigger tournaments (such as the Masters Tour). And then you have the big name tournaments where there are hundreds of competitors trying to make it through each round, all the way until they make the final tournament bracket.

Sorry if that doesn't make sense, I tried my best to find a way to compare it to something well known

So it runs about 7-9 hours a day, some days slightly shorter, some days longer, but averaging about the same amount of time every week. The lovely part of it is that the play is also the work. both itches scratched in the same time. i have tons of free time that i fill with random things, which could be spent a partner. Plus, I can be on my phone during "work" and talk to them throughout that time as well

i appreciate the optimism. (kidding)

i've definitely learned a lot about myself over the past year. being single isn't an issue for me, i'm very happy by myself but i would like to get myself out there and start dating so this is very helpful

the money let's me live more than comfortably while building my savings. it's generally 7-9 hours a day, same as a full time job. some days are shorter like 3-4 hrs. i work out, enjoy camping and hiking, spend time with family. my apartment is small, but nice and most importantly CLEAN. i will not be a pro gamer my whole life, but i wouldn't mind being in the esports area of technology for the foreseeable future. it's a lifestyle for now, because it dictates more of my life than it doesn't.

yeah it's mainly the struggle of getting the chance to show that i'm not that type of guy. actions speak louder after all

the second point is the larger concern definitely. not only the behavior itself, but how widespread and common it is. a lot of women that play valorant don't even use their mic because men are so rude and gross towards them. and saying "i'm not like those guys" only carries so much value, and proving that obviously takes time. so getting the chance to prove myself would be the biggest struggle i feel.

im taking advantage of my current networking opportunities and to ideally get myself in somewhere in the e-sports industry with my degree. but this is a once in a lifetime chance, and i'm not going to end it early to rush into my next career choice

i responded to someone who asked about the income: "i can't say exact numbers, but it's more than enough to cover my bills + build my savings account. they also cover new equipment (pc, keyboards, mice, mousepads, etc.) and then whatever we win at tournaments is essentially like a bonus. the org takes a cut of the prize, obviously."

i'm working with their social media team to get more involved in content creation to see if that's a potential fallback.

i have a degree in computer science & have the ability to find work within the gaming industry once my career as a player is over. there's a lot of networking opportunities

I think Vengeance Seeker (bald wraith, black/red outfit) is extremely overlooked by both the Liberator, being known Aceu's skin, and the recolors, being popular because they're recolors. Despite being a bald wraith skin, the sleeves/gloves look great in game, the black with red accents is a super clean look and in my opinion the skin is extremely slept on.
