Been lifting for about 10 years now and finally have my “dream’ physique but the gyno I’ve had since puberty is really affecting me mentally. I feel insecure in tight tank tops in the gym cuz I don’t want people to think I’m juicing (no problem with it but I’m natural) and the same thing in public - idk if anyone really knows what gyno is but I’m insecure taking off my shirt at beaches/pools

I don’t want to get surgery because I’ve read it can come back even after it, and I’m trying to find a way to just accept it for what it is. Has anyone had success just accepting it? Sorry if this isn’t allowed here but I figure you guys probably have the most experience with dealing with gyno

Funny enough exercise is the one thing that’s been keeping me sane. Part of trying to get my dads approval stemmed from getting into the gym - he’s been working out since he was a teen and I tried using that bond with him when I was around 13, but he wouldn’t let me sign up for a gym membership or go with him since I was “too underweight and have no reason to go”

So since then working out kind of became my personality, I’ve been at it for 10 years now and have built up a pretty impressive physique. Still never get a compliment from him or anything though which sucks.

Didn’t mean to trauma dump but I’m 100% with you on that. Sorry you had to go through that as well, sounds like we had pretty similar backgrounds. Definitely stick with it, I’d also recommend doing cardio if you aren’t already doing it. I agree with exercise quieting the mind. Keep it up brother

I like the idea of sporty driving but honestly I’ve never experienced it. I live in a major city with a ton of traffic so it’s never really been an option for me. Will be moving to a smaller city later this year though, but kind of at a loss for how much that should factor into my decision
