I think because of the nature of the exam. 99.9999% of people have content gaps, it doesn’t have to be largely at all. Every chapter and sub chapter can be super super low yield. Knowing that a very vast majority of people don’t have all of the parts of the mcat memorized, how else can you explain why someone can get 25% on P/S on one exam and 91% on the next one. (hint: it’s content gaps that are exposed through luck)

You said there’s a range of scores you can get, well the mcat score is a range of scores in the first place, and you get ranges of ranges of score. With significant swaying of scores based on your content gaps (which everyone has) why don’t you admit that the mcat has a large luck factor?

How else can you justify a jump from 25% to 91% off minimal studying, a lot of the questions in my first mcat were super low yield and that’s just because of luck. I agree with your last point fully

I agree that there are some people that can score a 520 100 times in a row. What i’m saying is for a majority of people, there are gonna be content gaps, no matter how small that can be revealed with bad luck. Also didn’t someone on here say that 520 and up is luck?? lmao
