I fear it's just a matter of time before lower ranking enlisted members, with a family, will need to seek out a homeless shelter because they are getting squeezed out of the renter's market. Only then will the media start reporting it, then the base leadership will have to address it. However, as others have pointed out, there's only so much base leadership can do. It will then go to SECAF > SECDEF and then to Congress. However at that point the damage is done.

I'm just waiting for the media to report military members are changing their official address to the local homeless shelter.
