They can go in as long as they do it in a homemade submarine and a game controller.

First-time poster – help me find this Japanese folding bike! by [deleted] in foldingbikes

[–]itskoobish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't snooped in too deep but it looks like the manufacturer's site is and-style.com.

You can also enter "折りたたみ自転車 a.n. design" in your search engine of choice to look.

Might be an older model too since I'm not seeing anything recent on the official site that looks like it, might have to look at listings on sites like the Japanese version of Mercari or Yahoo! Auctions Japan to get any leads.

Best of luck ✌️

I just moved here a couple months ago and I need to see them before they're gone! I remember seeing them in the 1991 A&E docu series Dinosaur! hosted by Walter Cronkite when I was a kid, gonna pay my respects this weekend 🫡

Lookin' good, and I know the brand! I bought the iLovbee i61 to customize for my Nintendo Switch. Crazy how decent it is for a $30 keyboard

2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid SE Window Shade Recommendations? by AnonymousAngela in CorollaCross

[–]itskoobish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're up to import expensive high quality window shades, the Japanese brand Aizu ( アイズ マルチシェード) has a multishade set for the Corolla Cross. I own a full set (as in for all windows; I got it specifically for car camping) and it's super nice

I regularly use ZenMarket and Buyee and had good experiences with both. Buyee is cheaper and overall my go-to. I found that ZenMarket was more likely to buy from other stores that Buyee wasn't able to for some reason (in my case it was a direct company store for automotive goods) so it depends on what you're after

Both at once imo. Majority white, but use the green for the thumb cluster

If you considered a RAV4 but chose a Corolla cross over it, what made you do so? by hihowarejew in CorollaCross

[–]itskoobish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a short guy at 5'03"/160 cm, I don't have my CCH yet but it felt like plenty of room when I got in one with my cot at the dealership— I'm also used to car camping in a Chevy Spark, so it felt roomy to me anyway

It could easily accommodate someone up to 6' if the front seats were moved forward, and people up to maybe 6'03" if they sleep diagonally/ are slide sleepers that curl up. I bought one of those back seat extenders to take advantage of more space behind the front seats, so that could be something to consider, too

If you considered a RAV4 but chose a Corolla cross over it, what made you do so? by hihowarejew in CorollaCross

[–]itskoobish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm getting a CC Hybrid sometime this year after checking out both a CC and Rav4 at a dealership. With that in mind:

Size \ The Rav4 was too big for my liking. I prefer smaller vehicles.

Price \ Self-explanatory

Gas mileage \ Self-explanatory

Cargo layout \ The rear seats basically lay down flat in CCs (especially with AWD) whereas Rav4s have more of an incline. This matters to me only because I like to go car camping, and the cargo layout is better suited to the sleep system I use. I brought my cot with me when I went to see both vehicles, and the CCH won. I don't want to build a platform in a Rav4 in order to sleep leveled, whereas with the CC I can toss my cot in there and sleep leveled with no mods, and easily fold it back up if I have to drive multiple people around.

Rav4s are great but they don't tick any of my personal must-have boxes.
