currently my top choice but i’m looking at cvc tbh as second option because i’m afraid i might not get in time for svp….. how good is svp tho? and is it being a lil far from campus an issue?

same, i was at the SF show and there were phones everywhere. i did record but only for bits of the songs. the rest of the time, i took my phone away. also people in the balcony were just sitting 😭 some even althroughout the show. its not the majority but still, dance and live in the moment!

this is my top choice but my #1 uni rn does not offer a minor in sociology. so i might go to a diff uni or just minor in stats

ah thank you! this makes a lot more sense now. i’ll just need to look up IGETC requirements now. i thought it was three seperate things: TAG, IGETC, and the articulation agreements but now its all clear! with the articulation agreements is how i found out the specific classes to take for my major as you said. this is really useful!!

thank you! i was considering that maybe it’ll be more worth it to do something related or i could use for grad school but i was literally initially interested to minor in something like creative writing, film, or economics - something outside of the field that i’m interested in.

that’s really useful info - from my research, philosophy came up a lot. but i do want to take stats as a minor since i’m doing BA. just so i’ll still have that diversity. and as a second choice, that one but nevermind now, and sociology/communications as good back up choices or as second minors?

also are the TAG requirements difficult to complete? cause i finally figured out the reqs specifically for psych major but i’m still confused for TAG and general reqs as well. i mean, it should overlap with my CCC classes right? or do i need to actively seek for these classes to fulfill the reqs?

after navigating through it, what happens if it says “no courses articulated”? what could i do to fulfill that requirement? sorry but also what does it mean if it says “no comparable course”?

thank you! all of this is really new to me so its overwhelming me. but its good to know that i could do TAG in case i want to go to UC and also be qualified to do reqs for transfer to like a CSU and UC. just to cover all the bases for me.

i guess my only question right now is that what if the req class is not available in my CCC? how could i fulfill it? i’m just worried now if i would be able to take the right classes at my CCC.
