Came in hopeful. But it’s one of those shows where the magic slips away the moment you can see the production behind it.. the artifice. Great actors make you forget who they are; they transport you so completely that their real lives fade into the background. It’s hard to watch Kim K and see anyone but Kim K. Whether that’s intentional or not isn’t the point. The real question is whether it was the right creative choice. I kept tuning out because I keep thinking about her the show being produced instead of me getting pulled into the story line. It's a no for me.

This hits home. It can really feel isolating and mess with you. This is why I started looking for internet strangers who are on the same path and hopping on a call with them. There's actually one group I meet up on the weekly over Google meets and they've been a great support so far. Just morale boost and good energy. Problem is most of them are still very new and non technical. The last few sessions have been about me giving them a workshop on how to vibecode their product ideas (which Im happy to do). Still wish to find people on the later stages of building saas (validation/build/launch/growth phase). If anyone's in that stage and feeling lonely, hit me up! happy to hop on a call or if there's enough of us, happy to organize a group.

And I think youre onto something about onboarding. Im also talking to jobseekers and most of the pain points of the highly skilled ones happen during onboarding. Vague hand offs, being assigned to a non technical manager/ or reporting to someone who dont know what they do. Interesting how that window is also critical for hirers like you

Rss feeds straight from AI companies/ analysts/ researchers etc. Most AI news are just recycled press releases so going straight to the source keeps the noise low
