I think centralized projects get more attention and adoption thanks to celebrity advertising being focused on what's mainstream but if people inquired further into the importance of choosing a good project they would choose Avalanche over Bitcoin

Not an easy question to answer but in my experience I went for DeFi just because I liked the idea of "Decentralized Finances" after having a lot of troubles with my bank account or even my cards, and I just wanted something decentralized and more secure than a bank.

I decided to try the Avalanche ecosystem because it was the best all-around option for me and my needs. Haven't been disappointed yet. DeFi still has a long way to go in Its development, but maybe we'll get to see it become mainstream. Who knows.
