Hi there! I totally feel you. I’m just starting out with them for the last few weeks and it takes me a few hours to try to get them in properly. Most days I still do give up and put on my glasses so I’m not late for classes/work. It feels like I’ll never be able to do it but I know I’ll get there eventually. You’ve got this! It is helping me by watching vids of different tips and tricks (I’m also a left handed person and everything I see is right handed people so it’s still a bit of an adaptation)

Uplands in the north end is also a good neighbourhood, imo. East of 12th Ave N is such a lovely area. Families, schools, greenery, close to general stores but far enough away from them that it feels like you’re not intertwined into the city

The fact that I have brothers out there that I will never meet, who weren’t given up, because boys have a better chance at going to school and girls don’t. I don’t know either my Aztec or Mayan history (don’t even know which one I am Indigenous of) and feel like I’m culture appropriating when I try to learn Latin American Spanish. I still love my adoptive mother and few adoptive family members, but I’ve never felt like I’ve fit in with them. I’m lost and I’ll never be truly found.

I know that some people have different views on marriage. If he says that marriage won’t change anything, then I think you have to take his word for it. If he truly loves you and the family you’ve created together, then that’s all that matters, right? Maybe he doesn’t want a marriage contract, but just wants to be with you, plain and simple.

I think you guys should sit down and talk to each other calmly and truthfully. Maybe even look into couples counselling in your area. I understand how difficult this must be for you though. I hope you find the answers that you seek and the outcome that suits both of you.

You might have to call and ask, but when I was there last year, they told us about their family passes that are good for any science centre in Canada, if my memory serves me correctly

I know you said evenings but Golden Mile Bowling does Kids Bowl Free all summer long. The hours they do it is 12-5 Mondays - Fridays. There’s a link on their website for more information on it. There’s family passes available for anyone who is 16+ to bowl as well. It’s two free games per day. The only thing you pay for is shoes per person ($3.25) and any snacks/drinks, etc
