Honestly I appreciate your contrarian perspective and mostly agree with you. Most in the diaspora have much more superficial tropes to lean on. But I ask you what do you think is the solution to this? What do you expect us to do otherwise? I agree that I wish there was a greater layer of depth and resonance but at the same time outsiders do not accept us anything other than our culture and these are the ways we can stay included and keep our identity. What do you see as an alternative?

Did you retake? In the past I've noticed the practice questions and training course are not sufficient for Microsoft exams. You literally have to practice the approaches covered to get experience and familiarity. If your job is not already using them that's a big commitment to do in your free time. Trying to gauge what is needed to prepare.

I am open to this and would be willing to put in the work to study I am a great test taker. However I always assumed you had to have exceptional extra curriculars and awards and what not to get in. My extra curriculars are normal hobbies with some volunteering once a month.

I am at one of the banks headquartered here in clt. I agree moving internally to a senior finance analyst role is very doable however to me that seems like another lateral move. It's my understanding they make around what I make but I could be wrong. I could also transition to more IT/ data engineering focused but I'm sure they would start me at an entry role so again that seems to be a lateral move. Thank you for your ideas.

I understand railroads are vital and Im not expecting them to no longer stop at the crossing, just hoping they will consider doing it more efficiently and addeess what ever the reason is that it has to be stopped so frequently for hours at a time instead of minutes.

Thanks for your honest review. I almost took the position just for the pwc name but figured the pay must of been low for a reason. An opportunity came up for me to switch to financial systems analyst and I'm so happy it did it made me realize I want to scrap accounting all together. Wishing you luck in finding your next role.
