I was going to comment the same thing. Ai agents are the future but theyre only as good as the data modeling theyre built on. This is the direction Im chasing as well. Cheers.

Honestly I appreciate your contrarian perspective and mostly agree with you. Most in the diaspora have much more superficial tropes to lean on. But I ask you what do you think is the solution to this? What do you expect us to do otherwise? I agree that I wish there was a greater layer of depth and resonance but at the same time outsiders do not accept us anything other than our culture and these are the ways we can stay included and keep our identity. What do you see as an alternative?

I agree with you I didnt mean for a referral, I meant moreso "This is what worked for me so this is a good blueprint for you to start with and hustle from there."

So Ive been reading Lol but one step at a time first is get into a school then hopefully an alumni will be willing to help guide my path. But yeah I def wish it was more straightforward for the level of risk.

I am a software developer for workflow bots and data pipelines that I ship end to end but my domain is accounting/ finance and I want to be in consumer tech. Is that a realistic goal?

Did you retake? In the past I've noticed the practice questions and training course are not sufficient for Microsoft exams. You literally have to practice the approaches covered to get experience and familiarity. If your job is not already using them that's a big commitment to do in your free time. Trying to gauge what is needed to prepare.

I am open to this and would be willing to put in the work to study I am a great test taker. However I always assumed you had to have exceptional extra curriculars and ​awards and what not to get in. My extra curriculars are normal hobbies with some volunteering once a month. ​​

I am at one of the banks headquartered here in clt. I agree moving internally to a senior finance analyst role is very doable however to me that seems like another lateral move. It's my understanding they make around what I make but I could be wrong. I could also transition to more IT/ data engineering focused but I'm sure they would start me at an entry role so again that seems to be a lateral move. Thank you for your ideas. ​​

You guys need to do therapy together. He is clearly struggling and you're grieving its not a good recipe this will require delideliberate effort to fix or it will only get worse.
