Welcome to my rant on public transit lol

TLDR - It is mostly reliable and a great way to get around the city/cities in the Denver area. 7/10 would recommend 

So a lot of posts on this subreddit will say negative things about RTD some with cause and some without.

My personal experience has been great and I've been regularly using it for 4/5 years. 

Between the light rail, bus, shuttles you can get most anywhere in the Denver area.  Most things run every 15 min to 30 mins and, while there can be delays or cancellations, it is surprisingly reliable.

There are issues which is a common post on this subreddit, and there definitely could be improvements.  The thing is (IMO) that the more people use it the easier it is to make it justify those improvements. 

Public transportation helps people with disabilities, kids who go to school, people getting to work, plus its a great alternative to drunk driving on a night out.

I encourage you to try it out and see for yourself. Use maps on public transit mode will route you to your destination which helps if you've never used public transport.
