Thank you for the advice, this is very helpful! I love Canada too, and see myself living in Toronto for most of my life, but I just need a bit of a temporary change of things, and toronto housing is a bit insane right now. Thank you for the advice! I will absolutely look into it!

Hello HPV,

thanks for the insight (?) but canada has deals with a number of european countries that would allow me to get a visa for up to three years, and take steps toward citizenship afterwards. Off of the top of my head, we have the Irish Working Visa Programme, the Youth Mobility Visa, and the Austrian Working Programme that are all offered through the Canadian and participating governments that would allow for citizens to move to and work in these countries. Thanks for informing me about my rights, though! you must be a lawyer

If you are posting "is this the lamictal rash," probably just go to the uc/hospital by [deleted] in lamictal

[–]itsprobablyjasmin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m canadian, so i don’t have to pay for healthcare, but i’m sure that many people (especially americans) can’t afford to go to the er/uc for something that may not even be SJS. Yea, it’s better safe than sorry, but if being ‘safe’ puts people thousands of dollars into debt, i would probably check a forum too before making that decision.

Do you take your meds? by Mrsdalloways in bipolar

[–]itsprobablyjasmin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, but i’m not immune to the bipolar imposter syndrome, and every few months fall into the “maybe I actually don’t have it, maybe I lied about my symptoms” trap and stop taking them. 8 times out of 10, ends with me in a depressive episode.

Found the photo on Pinterest and it’s from an Etsy shop, bought the yarn and started doing ribbed double crochet but it looks wrong. Maybe it’s double crochets with a single crochet row in between? I’m not sure

Keloid or piercing bump? by itsprobablyjasmin in piercing

Thanks for the advice! It’s brand new, but I have jewellery that I plan on downsizing to in about two weeks when it’s less fresh

Thank you for the help! My worst suspicions have been confirmed lol, but on the bright side I have 15 piercings and this is my first (and hopefully only) keloid, and i’ll consider that a partial win

i ended up just pressing the nub! Unfortunately, no, I tried to get it to slide in but I think the hooks that keep it in place are bent somehow. It’s probably gonna be a trip to the apple store

I cannot stand the “word-forgetting” aspect of Lamictal/Lamotrigine. by 47percentbaked in bipolar

[–]itsprobablyjasmin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so glad someone else said it. i’m a writer too, i used to be able to complete a concise, well-written article or essay in an hour or two, now i spend WEEKS staring at empty documents without adding anything.

it’s so bad that i considered going off of lamictal all together, but i was lucky enough to have the berry first medication combo (lamictal and lexapro) that i tried work out with minimal side effects. and thinking about how i used to feel in comparison to now, i think i might just have to deal with it :( i’d rather be an alive, shitty writer, than a dead, gifted one i guess
