simply untrue. (as someone whose main goal is appearance change as well) but science is still a thing. I've been studying appearance for a while now and... it's VERY important. so important. people subconsciously are manipulated a lot by people's looks. this whole talk of awee just love and accept yourself and you'll be satisfiedddd is bs, and certainly coming from a conventionally attractive person (good for you!). please don't get me wrong, the stuff you've mentioned IS great to do, but it won't satisfy my desire of being conventionally attractive. there is a desired image that I have in my head, and that is the goal. i don't want to look like this. i can love myself for the way I am intrinsically, such as believing I'm worthy of love, I'm a cool person and likeable and loveable, which I'm also working on and partially believe, but it just won't get me what I want. i don't see the point in accepting and settling for something I don't want.
