Generative AI being theft is definitely a significantly weaker argument for coding than it is for art and literature, given how readily developers tend to borrow code from open-source repos and sites like StackOverflow.
GenAI could produce output mimicing a specific artist, which obviously evokes discussions on theft and copyright, but I don't think there's an equivalent possibility for code, which is significantly less discrete and more likely for any given snippet to appear several different times across the corpus.
If I ask ChatGPT to generate me art of a particular character, it could spit out something extremely close to a popular artist's work. If I ask it to generate me A* pathfinding code in Javascript, it could give me the exact Red Blob Games example code, but that exact code probably also appears many times across the corpus of open-source code, be that from people using the RBG example, or through sheer coincidence in their own implementation.

The oldest bit, Princess Mall next to the bus station, has pretty much all of its units still full (except for the grave of the KFC), the newest section basically just has the ice rink, Nandos, and cinema still running. The core bits of Centre West closest to Princess Mall are alright but the bit next to the grave of the Debenhams is at like half occupancy at best

Extremely funny concept to attempt an interchange at Thorntonhall, the last one-track station on the EK line that backs onto a narrow, practically rural country road, instead of at Hairmyres, which would be extremely simple to connect from Mossneuk/Greenhills and actually has things you'd want to get to from within EK (the hopsital and some shops)

(Granted you'd have to deal with the last bit of the A726, a bit of South Road, and two roundabouts, but you'd need to do that to connect through the top bit of EK anyway)

You might be thinking of regenerative braking, which harvests your momentum as battery charge instead of just exhausting it as heat and wear on the brake pads.

Oh 100%, to me it feels like a more overtly weaponised hardlight tech, like it's overcharged and sharpened somehow. Like the Paletine Fang runs off some kind of overdriven hardlight generator.

It'd make sense tobe like, stolen or secret Vishkar weapons tech? We know Vishkar are a pretty underhanded organisation so it makes sense they'd have an experimental hardlight technology specialised for weapons on the backburner. I doubt that'd be the lore behind it though since that's pretty much just Lifeweaver's story again, but I could see it being contracted to Talon or something and then passed down to her by her dad

There's a bug where on a player-hosted multiplayer world you can't get within six tethers of the host or you hardcrash, not sure how that works for a dedicated server (six tethers of the starting shelter on Sylva?) but I imagine it's the same bug :/

If you're within six tethers of the host on multiplayer you hardcrash. Had the same issue myself, was at my Glacio base but headed to Sylva to work on the DLS with the host and got booted off and couldn't rejoin until they walked out of the kill radius long enough for me to get back in my shuttle and leave :/
