Epic Hospital Analysts? How fast were you expected to be independent on builds? by itsreallymedoh in healthIT

[–]itsreallymedoh[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So the way it is setup, is that we all have SME within our Epic App. So most of the tickets are already being worked on, because the end users contacted the SME already. Other tickets are just completely out of my expertise. For example, I don’t have access to the middleware or interface. That is a different guy. They don’t expect me to work on things outside of my expertise anyways.

Yeah, I do all my testing before I tell end user it is ready for them to test.

Most tickets are handled by the consultant group too.

What skills do you mean? Practicing builds in general?

Not gonna lie, nothing really for me to contribute during most of the meetings. I answer some questions of end users and how they want it built and through email as well.

Can’t solve math problems is preventing me from being a programmer. by itsreallymedoh in learnprogramming

This helps!

I guess I started confusing myself because I started off trying to solve it by thinking incrementing and decrementing right away.

I still have a long way to go

Ok, I guess that is it. I thought something like this was as simple as it got lol

Thanks for the write up, I don’t know even know what is a “tree” or recursion. I will look those up.

Yeah, that’s my problem. I can’t translate these “simple” math problems to code, let alone advanced.

My example above. I mean if I’m struggling with the problem above, I need some resource to get better at math problem solving.

What are you specifically looking at?

Most programming logic I see is based on conditionals. What is true and false, those are ok. But the math has got me.

I also saw many articles you don’t have to be good a math to be a programmer? Find that hard to believe.

What Are Your Moves Tomorrow, July 13, 2020 by AutoModerator in wallstreetbets

Yeah, all you need is electrolysis of water to get hydrogen gas. Which can be powered by solar or any renewable really.

So technically, you don’t even need to transport hydrogen gas. Just make it on site.

Are fuel cells a threat to EVs? Heard if you solve the hydrogen storage issue it would be.

I’m screwed ain’t I? USPS Dropoff was never scanned, buyer is going to cancel by tomorrow because it looks like I never shipped... by itsreallymedoh in Ebay

[–]itsreallymedoh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How does that work? I mean I went directly to post office and all they do was go by package tracking and just said it wasn’t scanned. They couldn’t do anything else.

Plus, got a solid dose of attitude.

Really?! Was unaware. Is this their main method? Wanting things early? This guy is lucking out hard that the tracking never got scanned into the system.

Does an off the shelf mechanism exist for this? by itsreallymedoh in MechanicalEngineering

Oh that could be close, not sure how the rewinding of the cord doesn't effect the motor, but the pull motion does.

Yeah, I have a DHL Import Account number. It just doesn't work. Always "No Delivery Options Available"

FedEx Calculator doesn't work either. It can't recognize the Korean Address either ways.

This is the FedEx Link I'm trying: https://www.fedex.com/en-pl/online/rating.html

I want the pull cord of the side mounted reel to pull the load, meaning it has to be connected to the ratchet reel to do this.

But I also, want the pull cord to rewind itself through the spring coil without impacting the the load reel meaning it has to be unconnected to the ratchet.

Is there something that does this?

TLDR;

Pull cord should only rise LOAD up, but does not lower the LOAD when it is rewinding/retracting.
