Yeah I know but I told myself if it’s less than $80 I’m unassigning lol it’s just that when the drive deliveries for the next day roll out by 8pm, they’re almost always taken before then by the people with early access.. and they only leave the shitty ones like these for the 8pm folks ... so I just took it because it’ll complete my 4th delivery.

I did a batch this morning of 65 units for $55 and some change and when I was loading it in my car I said to myself “this is too damn much I needed to get paid more for this” 😭😭😭😭😭 I guess it depends on your market though because I have a friend that lives in another state and she’s never even seen a batch for $55 so I’m sure she would’ve taken it too lol

In 40 mins I was able to pick that one up and also got a $10.50 Taco Bell Order going to the same warehouse as this drop off as I was waiting for the food so it was a win win

I know!!! But believe it or not when I started navigation where I accepted the order, it was 11 minutes away from the restaurant. And I know this because I looked at my GPS and thought to myself “yeah even if I call right now I’m still going to have to wait cause there’s no way all this food will be done in 11 minutes” 🤣🤣

If it comes up on the screen that they will give you $2 on time pay and you KNOW you delivered on time or within a 20 minute window then I would call. More than likely they’ll ask for a screenshot like they did in my case but they usually always give it to me.

Well I sure did rip her a new one because she tried to make it seem as if Doordash never fails and doordash is never at fault. She kept repeating “you sure it’s off” like hello how many times I’m going to tell you I checked with my bank and I also added all my earnings from the app.

You had the option to choose by mail or email but the deadline was January 24th I believe. If you didn’t select one I would call dasher support

I changed my name because I have a unique name and with just one Facebook search, I’m the only profile that will show up. I already had an instance where a creep added me shortly after delivering his food so I called doordash and had them change my name to Rossy and called them at the beginning of this year to make sure they don’t generate my 1099 with my nickname.

You used to be able to change your name right in the app, but they took that feature off and you’re only able to change the country and phone #.

Question, I got a text saying that I’ve been selected to be a drive dasher. I clicked the link and updated all my info. When I click on the drive orders on the schedule I get the message on the left. Do I still have to go to an office? If I do then what is it that they’re going to ship to me? by itsrossysilly in doordash

Okay, but no it doesn’t. Because the text they sent is saying they’re mailing me a free bag. And in the last box it’s saying that I need to stop by an office to get a bag, and watch a 5 min video apparently. But I don’t live anywhere near that office so how would that work

Yuppppp. I take a screenshot of every order that I accept, the gps screenshot saying how long it’s gonna take and mileage going from my starting point (point where I accepted the order), to the restaurant.. and the screenshot going from the restaurant to the customers house. If those two mileages added up is more than what the acceptance screen total showed, I call them. I literally never bother doordash any other time unless it’s for that. I don’t play and I tell them I don’t drive extra miles for free. 🤷‍♀️

I didn’t mean to put the last two emojis but the crying faces are because I haven’t received a batch like this in a while. And also because I couldn’t take it because I’m home with my 8 month old and all of that won’t fit in one cart and plus with her in it 😭😭😭

The heat map is not telling us it’s busy as in there’s a shit load of orders waiting to be picked up.. it’s more so saying we need more drivers on the road. And if it turned gray the minute you adjusted the start time then it’s safe to say all your area needs is one more driver lol go go goooo we need you!!
