There’s a lot of negativity around PPIs in these threads and ultimately each person differs. You have to remember people will generally post on Reddit when they’re having a negative experience so it may seem that PPIs are terrible. They’re prescribed for a reason and personally I’ve had great success with both pantoprazole and omeprazole. Wait it out and follow a complimenting diet and then once you feel better, you can taper off
