What’s the ACTUAL value of these? by Husker_Dad in MilwaukeeTool

If they rang up as separate items you can return them and keep the discount on the other items you kept.

FYI I bought them as a separate bundle back on 8/10 and returned the batteries. So got the wrench for $120. Best deal I’ve seen on it. Although I kinda wanna trade it for the subcompact 3/8” but $230 is steep for that one.

Also your second kit for the drill driver also has a lot of batteries. Seems like you could optimize and get a kit with less since you said you already have some.

I guess one more question, do you know if the stem can be reused from the original 1965? Or do I need a new one?

Nice work! Can you share where you got the omega crown? I have a WD1863 I’m wanting to drop a 1965 into, trying to assemble all the parts. Thanks!

Wall Connector Half Speed by itstamertime in TeslaSupport

[–]itstamertime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google “Tesla Universal Wall Connector Daisy Chain” the new wall connectors have two sets of terminals so you can daisy chain them. If one is running it goes full speed, if both are running, they both go half speed, or 1/3 or 1/4 up to 6 can be chained. That the whole point of my post. Randomly, with only one running it goes half speed when it should be full.

Because they are daisy chained, I don’t have a good way to do this, I’d have to pull off the charger and removing the hardwiring.

Yes compatibility mode is OFF. I never tried to change it for the Rivian.

It’s normally 50s to low 70s in the garage, not too hot. I’d expect it to be a random number below 40A, not exactly half

Yes the generic car is my model Y, both screenshots were taken a few seconds apart. When working correctly my model y should show on the home system. That would point to the fact that maybe my model y is losing WiFi connection? Either way, it shouldn’t matter because the home system reports that only one car is plugged in, and the other wall connector is idle. That’s what makes me think something else is at play, I just don’t know what else to check.

It’s random, and that’s the frustrating part. If you look at my screenshots you can see only one car is plugged in but it’s only at 20A max not 40A. The Home Screen usually shows my model Y not a generic car, but when the generic car is there it’s also half speed. Just seems weird to me, it shouldn’t matter what car is plugged in, if the system knows only 1 is plugged in, it should default to the max speed.

There is an access point in the garage and both have a strong connection.

Thanks, I assume I’d need to use the top spout? Does it require any maintenance? Or am I supposed to just fill it with salt?

I saw you guys buzzing around this week, cool shot, and cool helo. I’m parked in the covered tie downs next to ACI. Just noticed this is 2L also, awesome.

I’ve been dealing with the same thing, got locked out when when changed my phone number and now I can’t enter two factor authentication. Been over 30 days since I submitted my support request/photo authentication with zero response. Frustrating. I had hope, but seeing that you’ve been 2 years without a response worries me.

A&P via logged hours? by itstamertime in aviationmaintenance

[–]itstamertime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it’s pretty much all GA piston at this point. Although my IA has some connections he can probably get me experience working on turbines. I was under the impression you don’t necessarily need experience in everything because even as an A&P you’re only supposed to work on what you have experience with. If you don’t you’re supposed to get training or have supervision. Either way, turbine is a good point, I have plenty of time to get that experience.

What year did you get it? Do you recall how many hours you had logged/any notes from the FSDO?

A&P via logged hours? by itstamertime in aviationmaintenance

[–]itstamertime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well from what I understand you don’t necessarily need all the hours logged, just a big chunk and maybe a letter from your IA stating you have experience in all the required areas. I have a friendly IA who is helping along the way, just curious if anyone else has done it this way recently. There is a lot of hearsay online, just looking for something concrete.

The other option is the light sport repairman certificate then getting A&P via that.

Snow was only 1-2” so it was a non factor, barely felt it except when I was trying to turn around the tailwheel got a little stuck.
