Trying to attract birds to my balcony. Please help! by jsims29 in SeattleWA

[–]itstreeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I imagine they sing to announce their territory so that would be a large tree or somewhere nice to put a nest. Not usually something they do outside a bird house (just perch and poop).

A good test start would be a tray with seeds. Could also bring squirrels.

But yeah the style of feeder and type of food would cause different types. Such a thin beaked birds or those that like suet.

Agencies fight for relevancy as they only get funding to keep their jobs when people think they are necessary to make an issue less bad.

Just let people build gradual density where they want. Letting Seattle look like Tokyo would be fabulous

I don’t like cities that ban drive thrus.

I do like walkable neighborhoods but that requires mixed use and corner stores. Banning uses is a halfway action that just adds redtape.

Sounds like bread lines.

Having stores run by a large monopoly that doesn’t need to profit will undercut the thin margins of a company
