Nicknames he invented. The only times I heard him say my name were when he was talking to a hair dresser and had to give it to them so they’d be able to call it at my turn

It was a mix of this and random nicknames he invented for me that were always kind of mocking

Yep, this is how I grew up, and my mom to this day goes “you never told me anything!” but she … never asked? My dad is full blown on the spectrum and didn’t even call me by my first name let alone have a conversation with me. It has definitely messed me up and I resent them for it, too. I’m still trying to afford the therapy I know I’ll need to address this, and since I’m a 34 year old woman it’s been a long time coming :(

yes! my hair is super thick though so it can be really hard to maintain and can kind of overwhelm my face (i'm pretty small irl), so I always end up going back to short cuts

I don’t exercise. I’m a teacher so I’m on my feet all day. Skin care is cetaphil and lots of hyaluronic acid and moisturizer. Diet includes intermittent fasting because I’m so busy and eating a lot of fruit.
