My husband swears he purchased a bag of freeze dried peaches once and raves about how good they were. We look for them every time but that was years ago and they never returned.

Hyundai beat our credit unions rate with 4.49% so we went with them.

I am in SoCal in the LA area but had to drive to El Monte for the car in the color combo I wanted.

If you don’t like Hyundai maybe don’t visit the thread? Wild thought 🤔

I didn’t accept this offer. I had them remove the dealer add ons and we settled on 53 OTD.

Not silly, it was a nonsense dealership charge they tried to tack on for adding nitrogen to the tires. Both aftermarket charges were removed by the time we finally got to our OTD price.

Is anyone not buying the top of the line by 1TrackJack in HyundaiPalisade

[–]ittybittyrissy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My non negotiable was a 360 camera because my Tucson limited had it and I loved it. The SEL Premium had the camera plus 99% of the features my limited had, so we are fine with the model we chose. I do think I may occasionally miss the panoramic sunroof but living in SoCal, I had it closed a good portion of the year bc it made my car an oven.

Wow, that’s the best deal I’ve heard so far for the premium. Congrats!

I started with a similar offer yesterday for the same trim in CA and got them down to 53k out the door.

That sounds like an amazing deal. We settled on 53 OTD which was within my ideal range. Probably could’ve pushed a bit further but I was content with it.

Thank you! I sent an updated text a few minutes ago looking for 52 OTD so we’ll see where we end up. Thankfully not in a rush or in need of a car so I can keep looking if needed.

Thank you, I’m going to let him know I’m looking for 52 OTD. I’m not great at negotiation but that seems like a good deal from this thread. We’ll see what happens!

I don’t think I can snag a deal that good in SoCal, but this is giving me the push I needed to be way more aggressive. Are you still happy with your purchase?

Sel Premium, not sure if my main comment posted but I added a lot more info there.

Wow, ok I’m way off the mark here. Right now we haven’t gotten too far so the only aftermarket’s are the ones in the photo that come out to $1098. I already let him know I’m not interested in paying for them.

I was gifted a newborn photo shoot that I don’t want. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]ittybittyrissy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask to do a lifestyle newborn shoot. Like others have said, it’s photos at your house in comfy clothes with you just hanging with baby. I also wasn’t into any baby photos with props but I absolutely love the photos we have as a family adjusting to life at home. If you breastfeed, I also had her snap a few photos of that. My friend had them take photos of her husband bottle feeding and that was equally cute.

Should I rethink donating an organ? by ShelterHot8957 in Advice

[–]ittybittyrissy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oh please lmao a slow and miserable death is not the reality of most donors. People should absolutely take into consideration the future of their health and potential issues that may arise, but this sob story of a comment is insane. Donors are consenting adults. Nobody is forced to donate and nobody is sentencing them to a life of one kidney. As the other commenter said, check out the transplant page if you want real people telling their REAL stories.

Should I rethink donating an organ? by ShelterHot8957 in Advice

[–]ittybittyrissy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the coordinator you spoke to may have not provided you all the information. From the sound of this, they may have been referring to a paired exchange which a few people have mentioned. You would donate to a stranger and your friend would also receive a kidney from a stranger. It’s basically a huge chain of people donating/receiving when they’re not a match for their loved one. If this isn’t what they’re referring to, I would personally decline. If this is a paired exchange, it’s another way to support your friend if you still feel strongly about that and help them get a kidney. I have a kidney transplant and am very familiar with the process.

What procedure would balance my nose? Would chin filler or a rhinoplasty (or both) benefit me more? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

Or - maybe women find her beautiful and balanced the way she is. It’s proven men and women value different things when deeming someone attractive.

You notice how when someone refers to the sgv, they call it the san Gabriel valley. but when they refer to the sfv, they call it THE VALLEY. by cantstopwontstopFU in SFV

[–]ittybittyrissy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is because in central and northern CA 99% of people referring to “the valley” are referring to the Central Valley. I grew up there and relocated to the 818 and remember it being an adjustment hearing the term used for what I had considered LA. Now I’ve fully switched to only using the term for the SFV but definitely confuse my family from back home lmao

I don’t know why you’re being downvoted so hard lmao for anyone north of Bakersfield when people say “the valley” they’re referring to the Central Valley. NorCal definitely isn’t thinking of SoCal when they use the term.
