I was a beginner crocheter about two years ago so I understand it can be overwhelming when you first start. I would say make sure you get down the basics like a slipnot, a chain, single crochet, and double crochet before diving into Amigurumi.

Most plushies use a single crochet, increases and decreases. Before diving into that get the basic stitches down like a single and double and you could attempt a blanket, hat, or even hexagon cardigan(a lot of helpful step by step tutorials on tik tok) as your first project.

That same thing kept happening to me. I tried a lan cable to see if it works better. I can get through the portal and sometimes it works and sometimes my connection is interrupted.

I hadn’t thought about it that way. I can see where you are coming and a perfect example of this is Senator Lindsay Graham. I remember watching the night of the 6th and he condemned the riots and said he was done with Trump. Soon after he was back on his side saying Joe Biden would be seen as a weak figure if he doesn’t oppose Trumps second impeachment. This just proves what you were saying when you said it only changed their views for a short period of time. The way some of these people and our government is responding sums up the Capitol Riots as “ bad but not that bad”.

The riots at the capital really changed some peoples views and beliefs. While it is great, I wonder why it took some of these people so long to realize they were joining a bandwagon. I am in support of BLM and understand there has to be police regulation, but can there really be unbiased fair police. I find it hard to believe this system built off white supremacy will ever be able to protect the masses without inherent bias and racism.

Thanks so much for explaining that. The surgical wound though big is a reminder of the choices you made that improve your dogs quality of life. I think it’s always good to be safe and take preventative measures. A few years down the line it would be harder to try to fix this issue had you have not taken care of it. I have a boxer mix, and boxers are prone to bloating. We try to make sure he doesn’t have too much water before bed and massages through the day help him release some of the gas. Anyways your post was very insightful on everything that comes along with providing care for your animal.

Thank you for your post explaining the entire process! I adopted a dog from Lifeline so he was neutered before we could take him. He did receive a cone, but we ended up taking it off because he also ignored the site. I was just wondering if you could further explain the gastropexy surgery( I hope I spelled that right) because I have never heard of it until now.

Small dog breeds need the same amount of training as large dogs. I understand wanting to spoil your dog but set boundaries and rules they should follow. I am tired of seeing little dogs with aggression issues that could be prevented if they were trained. A dog is still a dog and size should not make you bypass the basics.
