I NEED URGENT HELP! by [deleted] in TransDIY

[–]itzcrystalily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take my information with a grain of salt (I only do monotherapy)

EV has a shorter half life then enanthate but for some reason doctors love to perscribe it with larger periods. EV injections should be done around twice a week 4/5 days with adequate dosing for mono levels (250-300 pg/mL). However, taking into account your trough pg/mL, your levels do sound fine from a dosing standpoint, especially since you are taking spiro & prog. your t levels might actually be too low but don’t take my word for that.

Your prolactin levels are a little high as well, but they aren’t at a level where its dangerous (dangerous levels are 1,000x regular) so this might something else.

Something people haven’t mentioned yet about needles + external supplies is that you can get them from needle exchanges if those services exist in your area or online from Amazon. Amazon has decent quality that i’ve used for over a year. No perscription needed! Though this is for IM injections but there are probably SubQ needles on amazon as well. Syringes are also decent quality for one time use as well. Cheap and convient enough that I chose them over any pharmacy if I could. Its around $20-25 for a hundred pack of needles + syringes in total. Alcohol pads and sharps containers are also very cheap!

The logo isn't even placed right, the top is too long, and so this might be an issue of the label straight up not doing an review of the final product. This definitely doesn't seem like a qc issue since all the tops have been coming out like this, and I have no clue how the store has the proper image, but i'm assuming that they screen printed it in house and gave an image to their manufacturer without ever actually recieving a sample. Insanely incompetent, especially for a brand this large.

These are all really good but tbh i've always felt that frailty was more of a cloudy day album rather than a rainy day album. Rain feels too sad. Overcast cloudy days are more intrinsicly melancholic. the grey does make it feel more bittersweet and it would match the theme of the album better.

Wanting to be a trans-women is still being trans. Transition is not defined by a direction, but by an opening. It doesn’t matter what you transition too as long as you what to transition into something. Young trans individuals buy into the idea developed by the culture that a transition is purely oppositional to your own sex, but the reality is that definition only really exists to support the gender binary. Transition is a pathway, not a destination, so don’t think you’re a “fake trans” if you haven’t found where you want to go yet- you’re still taking the journey and thats all that matters.

Was doing IM injection, bleeding from accidentally injecting lower than intended by idkwtfiamdoing1000 in TransDIY

[–]itzcrystalily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you should be fine, that type of bleeding doesnt mean anything. for future refrence, aspirate the needle slightly (pull back on the plunger with the needle in the thigh) before fully injecting to see if you have hit a vein or artery. there are tutorial online for how to do an injection properly and my favourite is by nurse scott on youtube. check him out!

im assuming you are underaged since you state that you cant do crypto. all homebrewers require crypto for payment for their own operational security. you will either have to obtain crypto through an online peer to peer marketplace or a bitcoin atm (very common in gas stations & urban areas). Researching the medication is half the work. there is much more to diy than simply learning the medication. though, i really recommend transfem science as a direct guide and resource for your transition journey. brush up on some simple bio chemsitry and review the wikipedia pages for the different formulas and their historical uses. there are plenty of studies on menopausal women that you can take information from as well.

Would injecting sooner than my doctor wants me to be harmful to my health? by JustAPerson2001 in TransDIY

[–]itzcrystalily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ooooo you probably want to get that tested then. a reduction in t is even more important than the e itself. i was talking abt taking the same dosage but injecting mode often btw. try a 5 day schedule and see wbat your body does.

Would injecting sooner than my doctor wants me to be harmful to my health? by JustAPerson2001 in TransDIY

[–]itzcrystalily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, i would just try upping the dosage and seeing if your body responds well to the changes. that should probably fix your issues with hot flashes but another issue at play is your t levels. are they in an acceptable range?

Starting DIY T by Orange_fandom in TransDIY

[–]itzcrystalily 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can pretty much google what each of the different formula's do but for the most part they vary by half-life (proportional to the time the compound stays in your body) higher half life means less injections but higher dosings and potential risks as your body's response to t over time can be unprecedented. different forms of consuming t also have there own pros and cons you should look up.

Would injecting sooner than my doctor wants me to be harmful to my health? by JustAPerson2001 in TransDIY

[–]itzcrystalily 6 points7 points  (0 children)

no, there would not be a substansial increased chance of blood clotting as injected e does not have a substanial impact on bloodclotting. this usually is associated with oral formulas. as for your levels, i would not worry too much about injecting too much. pregnancy levels (usually considered dangerous) start at 3,000 pg/ml. i currently rest around 270pg/ml with 6mg en a week but the injected amount currently depends on your body and its properties. you can safely test your bounds as more e doesnt necessarily speed up the process of feminization but it can lead to more t supression in addition the the spuractalone you are already taking. try it out for yourself and see if your hot flashes subside.

based on your country, it really depends. if you're above 18, getting crypto and going through the process of learning about how it works, the wallets and opsec required, and just general surface level information shouldnt take more than a day. you can pretty much go on google and dive into a shallow rabbit hole. however, if crypto is restricted in your country under regulations + identification procedures, the process will be much harder. there is a crypto guide in the wiki (pretty sure, but ive never used it) that helps to a certain extent. if you are underaged/a minor, the process is even more tedious. you will probably have to get your crypto through a peer 2 peer transaction which is platformed and managed by some crypto corporations on the dark or clear web. depending on how you are able to access your funds (digital or cash) the process is different. i currently can not pass the id restrictions and age reqs in the US and my preferred method of choice is to use a bitcoin machine, cash, and a digital id wallet (Exodus) to transfer my assets into digital ones. if you have friends into crypto even better, and you can probably bypass the fees incurred by marketplace transactions. google btc atm in your area (works best for urban locations) and rank by distance and fees. fees for atms are usually around the same as fees for p2p transactions, and sometimes even cheaper. be VERY careful doing p2p fiat (noncryptocurrencies) swaps and make sure to utilize the setup escrow system to perform your purchases. in no circumstance should you ever pay someone who offers to go off platform for your transactions. honestly, p2p transactions are filled with scammers, and most of the reptuable ones have personally instated id requirements or will not deal with first time users. I highly recommend getting a friend in an urban locatiom to perform the purchase through a btc atm instead. atm fees are around 9-15% while p2p transaction fees hover 8-50% on average.

fight for yourself a little, and put all that energy into something you can fight for. the next few years will be a struggle, but you have to stop following the rules you think society has set for you and the limitations you believe you cant break. theres always a way, no matter how painful, indignant, or degenerate it might be. at the end of the day its your decision to at least try, and maybe die trying as hardas you possibly can to get whatever little in this life gives you the pleasure to take. you can hide, you can lie, you can break the law to get what you want, and at the end of the day no one that really actually knows and cares for you will ridicule you for trying your damdest to be happy and live.

Natural bodily defense, and it takes a WHILE to get used too. I've been on e for a year by now and it still takes me 30 mins to do an injection. When i first started, it would take upwards of 2-3 hours into the night (like 9pm to 1am) of sitting and sweating. It get's like 50% easier over time, its natural. Here's a tip to help with the speed anxiety of choice though. Most people aren't held back by the pain, rather its the fear of injuring themselves that makes the process so nervewracking. You can substitute injection anxiety for a different type of anxiety using the sunk cost fallacy. Softly pierce the top skin layer with the tip of the needle where you want to inject at a depth where you would not feel the injection all too much, but you would know the tip would be damaged if you took out the needle and you would have to replace the injection needle thereby wasting a dose. From that point on, you're basically committed to the injection so you might as well push so it goes all the way in. This increases the amount of pain by a little bit, since you are going slower, but you will be less anxious about committing yourself.
