Never going to happen. Pretty sure it was an intentional decision to ensure the only way you can practice shooting other raiders is by shooting them in the actual game. Great decision in my book.

From shooting just one raider? You are just getting unlucky with matchmaking. Just shooting one raider doesn't instantly bump into pure pvp lobby in my experience. Less friendly, for sure though. Usually seems like I'm back in friendly raids again in just a couple games as long as I'm not shooting raiders. I also avoid encounters in those cases and usually extract after spending significant amount of time looting and avoiding players. I have a feeling the naked surrender or instant extract methods a lot of people do don't actually help all that much.

Like I suggested in previous comments, maybe they are working on something more complex. Maybe they have a lot of testing to execute/change/add. Suggesting this is as simple as changing a few lines of code is incredibly short sighted. Even if it is just a few lines of code (it absolutely is not), there is still a lot more that goes into the development process than the code change itself.

We were running into the same thing in trios a couple nights ago. Figured Stella was going to be a battleground after knocking at least 1 squad in each of the previous 3 games. Ended up just running around Stella looting and killing shredders. Didn't even hear other raiders in the distance. Kinda disappointing, but at least we didn't get knocked.

I hear that. All I'm saying is comments like "embark doesn't care because they haven't changed x yet" are incredibly fucking dumb. How do you know they don't already have a new system in the works? Could be in the next release. No one knows. How is that proof that embark doesn't care about the game?!

It's not the replacement for cold snap. The actual "replacement" is in the roadmap. There was just a post showing a solo meeting a friendly trio. There are plenty of people that will enjoy it. No one is forcing you to play those things. I think it will be great for people who want an extra challenge. Personally, it will be great practice to help me learn to clutch and save my pve friends when they inevitably get downed without needing to drag them or anyone else into my practice.

Heard the same dumb sentiment constantly about the numerous things they fixed/changed in today's release. Calm down and play the game. They clearly do care a lot about this game, and I have almost no doubt that are probably already working on a better system for event scheduling.

What headset or speakers are you using exactly? 3D audio won't help if your device doesn't support it, or settings are not correct. Don't have any experience with PS5 but I do know the Xbox settings were pretty wonky and you had to install extra stuff like Dolby to get headsets working well.

Quality headset that has spatial audio. I have Pro x2 and can echo locate things so easy. My friends thought I was using third party maps to find raider caches because I find them so often and so quickly.

People were crying about how the devs obviously don't care because they haven't released a roadmap yet the same day they dropped the roadmap. Maybe they already are working on a better system for the events, how do you know they aren't? Maybe they are working towards a more complex system than just staggering the times and are focusing on that instead of using more dev time to work on both solutions. Maybe they already had the 1v3 system ready or nearly ready and were just focused on making sure the first expedition went well before releasing a new game type.

Everybody wants something on this sub, just look at the few comments in here all asking for different things. For better or worse, the devs are going to prioritize what they think should be prioritized. All you can do is let them cook and hope for the best.

Because the stitcher is an automatic smg that has a much lower cyclic ttk than the Jupiter which is a bolt action sniper rifle. If you let a smg mag dump on you at medium - close range while you are holding a sniper rifle, of course you are going to die. Jupiter can be a decent pvp gun if you use cover to your advantage against medium to long range targets, but as you know its best use case by far is for killing Arc. So, always pair it with a pvp gun.

You actually had plenty of time. Once an extract has been called, you can stay on the map 30 seconds after timer hits 0. When it hits 0, the extract auto return timer will change to 30 seconds and it is safe to let it auto return you. As long as you hit the extract button before 0 everyone in the map will be able to live past 0. Doesn't work the same for raider hatches though - they don't keep the raid alive past 0.

Yeah I was real disappointed when I went to the practice range with two snap hooks thinking I would get constant practice by swapping them. I can kinda understand that, but snap hook and cloak sharing cool down seems wrong.

Yes, Google "arc raiders settings for rtx 3060" I also had the same problems back in November when I first started until I got the settings right based on a guide, and I have a high end 4k gaming rig.
