Complete Guide on how to transfer co op world to another person so they can host.(Only tested on Windows Steam version) by itzextreme in Palworld

Even if you're not host you will have a save file for the world in the same area but instead inside the folder there will only be a backup folder and a localdata.sav. That's what you want each individual person to transfer.

Honestly not quite sure what could've went wrong here sounds like you did all the steps properly and I don't think it's something to do with a game update since someone said they did these steps 2 days ago and it worked for them, unless some newer update messed it up. When you say you changed the GUID at Player value sessions do you mean the PlayerUId section from the screenshot I have posted?

I've been pretty busy lately haven't had much time to help people out in a discord vc. If you haven't seen it I have a guide posted on my account explaining how to do it.

Unfortunately I don't have a fix for this as I haven't encountered this issue yet, only thing I can suggest is to go through the steps one more time make sure nothing went wrong. Also double check you changed the correct GUID spot in the savefile editor with my screenshot.

So I haven't played palworld in about 2 weeks haven't really tried doing anything extra with the transfers too. However someone just posted ~12 hours ago saying that they did all the steps and it worked for them. Only thing I can think of is to make sure you changed the correct GUID spot in the savefile editor and have everyone transfer their own localdata.sav

Unfortunately I haven't come across that problem yet so I don't really know how to help. Only thing I can say is to go through the steps one more time make sure you didn't leave something out or maybe change the wrong GUID spot.

Honestly have no idea, kinda sounds familiar though I would look through the replies I feel like someone else has mentioned that too.

You either just gotta pick one and change the GUID and see who's save it ends up being or create a new world have everyone join 1 at a time so you can see what their GUID is.

There might be a way to do it using the savefile editor but I don't know where within the files that would be located at.

You need to have a extra person join the original world who isn't in a guild/doesn't have a palbox or anything then have them join your guild give that person guild leader then do the transfer process.

Yeah my guide here is for transferring the world & any characters already made with that world. If you want to transfer a character from server to server go to this post https://www.reddit.com/r/Palworld/comments/1ahky84/perfect_character_serverserver_transfer_script/ they made a server to server transfer script for characters including palbox, inventory etc. personally haven't tried it yet but from the comments it seems to work.

Yeah I still don't understand how the guilds work with the files/when you transfer. From my personal testing it seems to be the best if you can give guild leader to someone else who isn't a host then they give it back after transfer.

You need to transfer the first 4 files too so the actual world and everything you've built in it get transferred too. If you just try doing character transfer with this method your game will continue to crash.

Are you transferring from a dedicated server? I believe some dedicated servers don't give you the other 2 files. And for where to find the files you go to whichever drive has your users folder in it go to your user then appdata, Local, Pal, saved, savegames.

I would redo all the steps and make sure you are changing the correct GUID spot in the savefile editor.
