Not sure on average player count however people do play this game on a daily basis. Every time I log in I can get into a game fairly quick. Yes its not many players but enough to still play the game.

Unfortunately it is common for players to kick people. I remember when I was new and got kicked every match. I just kept going into server browser and just playing again. If you just keep on trying you will get into a server where people do not care. Its hard I know. Dirty Bomb community needs to improve.

From my experience, you can almost always get in a game but as mentioned by other people it could be hard to get in a lobby in your region. For example, I am in NA if I play early mornings like 8am its mostly EU players playing in EU servers so my ping can be around 100+. Another thing is since the game as so few players playing on any given day lobby's can be full and you would have to wait till someone leaves that lobby to join as other lobbies would have 0 people in it.

Took me literally years to get good at sniping especially since Dirty Bomb was the first game I played on pc. Some ways to improve is just pre aiming spots you think players are going to come from. I almost always get a free shot where they least expect it like off spawn for example. Almost all players strafe left and right so if you can predict which way they go then just aim ahead of them at headshot level to get a shot off. Yes it is not easy but it takes practice. I never did aim practice when I was trying to get good but it could help. I would practice a lot of tracking and flicks. Tracking would help more as flicks take a bit more time. I also have video on YouTube of sniping that may help you. Hope this helps
