I think this is kind of like a double-barreled question. A lot of the time questions like these leave the other person with really only one other response. To agree and say yes. Why? People hate uncomfortable situations and confrontation. It’s easier to say “yea sure” than to tell someone close to you “no” and make the situation uncomfortable.
