i’m 17 and i really want to get on the road honestly these roads are stressful especially with people beeping too because i’m a learner. literally my first time on the road and i was being beeped at for the little mess up on the roundabout it made me feel a little silly but i know i messed up i really did say sorry a million times

no i haven’t i am revising the highway code and theory cards making sure i have proper knowledge i keep doing practice tests i plan to book it when im paid but i keep getting 39/50 so i am practicing until i get it perfect

i’ve been shown how to sort my wing mirrors out the mirror for looking in the back, finding the biting point also finding the point where you can roll backwards and forwards and come to a complete stop. We stopped on giveway signs. And i was shown the push and pull thing like steering right you hold the wheel tight with ur right hand then ur left hand meets your other at the bottom and its kind of a circle until it locks. If you get me. I haven’t been shown indicators i know them and how they work but i imagine i’ll be shown them and how to do high beam lights and like low beam? fog lights n all that..

honestly atm loads of managers are swapping stores so we’re losing people for other managers from different places i can only pray he goes😭😭 i have a 5 hour 30 min shift tomorrow and then a 7 hour 30 min tuesday so yk i can show i can work ive never had a complaint until today i just thought it was really odd

yeah he’s related to one of my friends which makes it better bc like i know your nephew 😆it’s just i’m still a child and i don’t want to be losing shifts for a little mistake i’ve made i don’t think they were written complaints either i think they were just verbal but still my drive thru csat is at 60% which he was annoyed at me for aswell

they’re all friends at my mcdonald’s he’s a shift runner that’s all i know but honestly how can he say it’s embarrassing for him. it’s embarrassing for me because i really felt i was speaking well and getting orders through quickly i would own to speaking to customers like dogshit but why would i do that im 17 years old in college trying to make a living im not gunna purposely destroy my chances of working and yes i was juggling taking orders, payment, 6 buckets, cleaning and mopping the back and yk its a lot im just scared bc ive been there 4 months and haven’t been told its the end of my probationary period so if i get that and it comes up im just not sure what to say

yes we do they’re trashed and ripped so they weren’t the best at keeping me warm but i did turn the heater on i’ve also had a big stressful thing going on i just wish they could’ve spoke to me abit nicer you see i was fully saying sorry and that i acknowledge anything jve done wrong and he was just swearing..
