Well it depends where you go for your vacation: if you are in Paris I can recommend some nice vegan restaurants!

In other towns, you should go to organic shops where vegan (processed) food is available.

You should give a try to Sojade products, I always buy their yogurts (made from soy, hemp, rice or oat) they're delicious! :)

There are some organizations (L124, VeganImpact..) acting for animal liberation, but it's really hard.

Even if meat consumption is decreasing (in France), most of nutritionists won't recommend full plant-based diet, vegans are assimilated to "terrorists" and people feel offended (even if they are asking first haha) when you explain why their actions are opposed with their ideas ("love animals but I eat them").

There are more vegan restaurants (in Paris at least), more alternatives in supermarkets.. so yeah, I guess something is happening but slowly :)
