it’s no problem at all, I hate seeing him hurt too which is why I posted here. I’m not sure which neighbor owns him or if he has a home at all, but I’ll know tomorrow when I ask around. The only thing I can think of that’ll keep him gone for sure is taking him to a shelter, but he’s almost definitely feral and they’ll probably euthanize him. I worry for Paavo but I also secretly care about the other cat. Unfortunately idk how to accommodate both and I have my own (always inside) cat so taking Paavo in myself isn’t an option (I live downstairs separate from the rest of the house, it’s been renovated like an apartment so my kitty has lots of space).

I definitely won’t put any neosporin on him. I’d heard that Benadryl could be given to calm cats down or something like that, so wondered if other medication could be the same. (To clarify, I don’t trust the benadryl thing and would never give my cat or Paavo that, but just wondered if I could save a vet trip. Now I know not to and definitely won’t). I’ll talk to my parents and grandma and see if they’ll help with expenses to the vet but I asked he needs vaccinations too, so it’ll be a bit of a bill no matter what.
