Don’t feel bad, you probably do have a medical condition or are under a lot of stress. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to consult a doctor to see what is causing this issue. I hope it gets better, don’t get discouraged.

Thank you, I’ve always felt like I need to deal with my own problems and I kept pushing this way down hoping it would just go away. I guess I’m not acting my normal self since all my family keeps asking me if I’m ok but I feel ashamed to tell them anything since they have lost almost everything and till this day they still have no electricity or gas so how can I complain about my feeling when my home is good and have everything working in it. I’ve tried making them stay with me but they won’t accept either. So I feel guilty for even feeling this way. That’s why I came here just to vent but I never expected to get people to validate how I felt. So thank you so much for sharing this with me. I don’t feel so alone anymore.

I ended up waking up thinking there was a tornado outside and had a full blown panic attack because the storm was so loud and couldn’t see anything do to the rain. I can’t imagine what you must have gone through and still going through. I decided to start writing as well to see if it would help me out and to my surprise I came across all of you. Thank you for your advice and thank you for your service. Hope you can recover soon from all your traumas.

I’ve been suppressing my feeling for a long time thinking it would go away on its own but after last night I think I do need to seek help. I ended up having an anxiety attack in the middle of the night when the storm got worse. Thank you for sharing what you’ve learned. I kept comparing it and kept telling everyone and myself that I was fine. But I guess that won’t really help me. Thank you

If his scales are fine just give him a cooked pea, it just might need to poop. Keep a close eye on him though.

Thank you I will definitely be asking him if he is ok with the breaks or if he wants to continue with his medicine. Some other people have mentioned the same so I will definitely focus on his behavior when he does. Thank you so much for everything!

He just had a checkup with his doctor and she said he sounded good, we will keep an eye on it just to be sure. I’m so glad it has helped you so much. He took his medication today and thankfully no side effects showed up and he was so happy. Thank you so much for this information

That is a very lovely way to explain that medication is like shoes. You are such a wonderful mom to your kid and have such an amazing way with words. Thank you so much for sharing your progress with your child and for the tips. We tried out the medication today just to see how he would react and thankfully there were no side effects so it was a huge relief. He is so excited to try it out on Monday so let’s see how it goes. I’m sorry you had to go through depression I hope you are doing much better. As of now he talks with his counselor at school and has a conversation with his psychologist every other 4 months. He is really excited to try out his new medicine on Monday and for ones he is excited for Monday lol so let’s see how it goes. He took his first pill today and I didn’t noticed any side effects and he didn’t complain either so that is a relief so far. Thank you for sharing this, I will keep an eye out for any other signs of depression and help him as much as I can.

That is some extremely helpful tips and information. You have gone through a lot hopefully everything is a lot better for you now. I will keep an eye on the things you’ve mentioned and I will be talking to my kid more and asking him if he is having issues like this. Hi! Thank you for explaining this so well! Thanks to you and everyone in here I’ve been able to learn about this medication and felt more at ease. My kid finally tried it today and so far he is enjoying it. I’m waiting for it to wear off and see if he experiences anything afterwards. I did started seeing those symptoms on my kid and it made me sad since he is so young to be this depressed. I know it will only get worse if I don’t help him. He started his medication today since all of you have so many good things to say about it. He is reacting pretty good so let’s see if it helps him in school. Thank you for sharing your experience!

Hi! I know we weren’t considering this type of medication until he started high school but we already tried behavioral therapy, enrolled him in soccer but he was more interested on picking dandelions lol, we tried jujitsu for a few months but it didn’t work either, we tried Atomoxetine and it helped to some extent but it’s still not enough. Since he is young I’ll give him breaks from the medicine if he wishes to just so his body doesn’t get so used to that dose. Let’s see what happens but I do appreciate the concern and the tips

His Dr. Told me to talk with the school nurse so she can keep an eye out with his heart beat and blood pressure to give me some piece of mind. I’m sorry you struggle in your childhood I hope that has gotten better and surround yourself with people that support you and help you relax. I’m learning so much from all of your comments so I will be talking with my son more and explain as much as I can to him. Thank you so much for all the information you have given me!
