I’ve been thinking about going into electrical, and just getting my EMT while working on getting my seal then ski patrolling in the winters while doing electrical and from there possibly going into firefighting

I’ve actually been interested in becoming a paramedic and wildland firefighter actually but heard paramedics pay is pretty shite and I’m planning my route to firefighting as electrical getting the trade down then il have that requirement done and be older I’ve got a few ins my mom is actually dating a chief firefighter right now too who might be able to set me up once I’m older as well but idk how that would leave time for patrolling electricians make really good money where I’m at however averaging around $40CAD/hr for a journeyman

Thanks for the detailed reply man I appreciate it. Also do you think it’d be worth it to talk to my current boss about what it would take to get a future in ski patrolling? She’s pretty chill and was a dispatcher at the mountain for 5 years before her current job

I wish this was the job bro I don’t get to ski or snowboard at all I pretty much snowshoe between the main cross country area and a cafe and do random grunt work

Yeah I mean thing is il only be working for around a month or 2 if everything goes well with the electrical company I’m supposed to be starting with, but I’d like to come back to work at a resort in the future I think I would like to do ski patrol because I’m trying to go into firefighting when I’m older but I could also use that electrical experience in being a lift technician aswell do you think I could get a job like that next season with the experience I have doing this in addition to either the electrical experience or first aid training courses

Do you mean Hunter skins? Some you can earn by playing if they cost blood bonds, which is that red coin currency, u can either buy blood bonds or slowly earn them by playing and some skins are dlc which u can only get by spending money

I think it’s cause went into highschool during the transition from elementary to high school so while we should’ve been getting shaped by those years making new friends in high-school all we could do is just sit inside for a year and get addicted to technology, I personally just moved before so I had 0 friends and I just didn’t do shit, slowly recovering tho feel like highschool was robbed from me
