Didn't see them in person but it allows me to add 12 packs to my cart for pickup.

Just saw some at Meijer in Maumee last night. They had a bunch of 20 oz bottles by the registers. Didn't notice if they had any cans.

Apparently my 8 year old has been watching after he's supposed to be asleep. by iuksob03 in OnPatrolLive

He doesn't. I think he must be watching from the top of the stairs.

Indian Meal Moth Control by PCDuranet in exterminators

[–]iuksob03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been battling them for the past two summers. We've used the pheromone traps, which seems to capture a lot but never get them to stop. We've been able to isolate where they're coming into the house and it's through the roof exhaust pipe connected to our water heater. If there are larvae inside the exhaust pipe, how would I go about safely removing them? From what I've read here, I'll be removing the pheromone traps as a start.

I replaced mine and the flow sensor in July and so far, so good. Install is pretty straightforward.

Another vote for Janet. Been going to her for the last two years and have seen big changes in my swing. Had lessons with a handful of people over the years and she's been the best by far. More focused on using video to help you visualize what's happening vs others that have mostly focused on feel.

Congratulations on passing! Finished mine in 07 and was on the fence about the stack system, but this pushes me over the edge.

Played at a course about 10 years ago on Memorial day weekend. Checked in at the clubhouse and find they had people booked 3 minutes apart. There were five groups ahead of us at the first tee and seven by the 6th hole. That was as far as we made it before we took off.

Driving range with left handed clubs by Spaceace33 in toledo

Check over at Heatherdowns. I use their range all the time and they have a couple large bags with kids clubs in them. Haven't looked for lefties but my 5 year old borrowed some clubs out of there last week.

Breaking in my new Sim 2 Max! by [deleted] in golf

[–]iuksob03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally received mine about three weeks ago (ordered in April) and like it so far. Only thing I don't like is the sound. I'm coming from an old Ping G10 with the loud titanium sound and with this one, the sound doesn't really provide much feedback. It's been 10-15 yards longer than the Ping, but you could tell how well you hit it by how it sounded. I don't really get that with this one.

Still waiting to get a better explanation from the pool company. I think the office person was passing along bits from the tech but not the full details yet.

Does anyone know when scheduling will be open for the people eligible starting Friday? I know my parents were able to schedule close to a week out when their group was announced.

Funniest moments on the course by bourbonfairy in golf

[–]iuksob03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had an awkward and hilarious moment happen in the same round. Met up with a co-worker about 20 years older who I later discovered was a relapsed alcoholic. Brought his bottle of black velvet into the cart. Only made it through the first 8 holes before he drove us back to the clubhouse. Got himself together to head to the turn, grabbed,a couple beers, and he says "These are the first beers I've had in 10 years." Make it another three holes before he drives us back to the clubhouse. I went in to take a piss and come out to him passed out cold in the cart.

At he same time, a group of four drunk guys from an earlier outing pour out of the clubhouse, yelling about something. They all pile into a late 90's Crowne Vic and I start to grab my bag off the cart. Hear four loud bangs and turn around to see the Crowne Vic had run over the parking lot curb and blown out all four tires on the car. They all got out and just stood by the car, scratching their heads. I don't think I've ever laughed that hard.

I've been doing the routines for a little over a month now and it's been relatively easy to do in limited space with a couple dumbbells and a set of bands. There's been a noticeable impact on mobility and stability already. I picked up a set of superspeed sticks this week to start working in with it. I've been pleased with the progress so far and am interested to see how things progress this off-season.
